Here's a mistake I see on almost every small business website: they list services, show some photos, and then... stop. There's no clear next step. The visitor is left to figure out what to do, so they do the easiest thing — they leave.
A website isn't a brochure. It's a guided path. Every page should make one thing obvious: what do you want the visitor to do next? Call you. Text you. Request a quote. Book online. Pick one, make it impossible to miss, and repeat it throughout the page.
'Learn more' is not a call to action. It tells the visitor nothing. 'Get a free quote,' 'Call now,' 'Book my free call' — these tell them exactly what happens when they click. Specific, action-driven buttons convert far better than vague ones.
Your phone number is your strongest call to action. Put it in the top corner, make it clickable on mobile, and repeat it near the bottom. If someone has to hunt for how to reach you, they won't — they'll go to a competitor who made it one tap away.
The whole point of your site is to start a conversation. If yours isn't making that easy and obvious, it's working against you. I'll build you a free draft with clear, repeated calls to action built in — so you can see the difference before you pay. Call or text me at (989) 350-5433.
